Pros and cons of Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time app for iPhone and iPad

Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time app good for

At last. Well Could Be better, eg voices Not just textballoons ... But you Know, its The doctor for iPhone! Yeay! Ps The Safe restore Option Sucks. Needs to Be fixed
In general, the game is fun and entertaining, staying interesting because of the advancing story introducing more and more new techniques and types of riddles. Also, I am quite happy that the game actually managed to include some of the humor characteristic for the Doctor Who TV show. However, there some things are annoying: 1. Blocks pushed/pulled close by other objects often get caught by these for no obvious reason. 2. The level creator feature is infested by some bugs: When entering a room in edit mode, its contents are often loaded incorrectly or not at all, making it difficult to almost impossible to create (especially multi-room-) levels.
Let me start by saying that it sooo unbelievably cool to have a DOCTOR WHO video game to play on my iPod...PERIOD! The Mazes of Time is definitely a terrific game thats thoroughly enjoyable for its puzzle solving, the music soundtrack and the role-playing between The Doctor & Amy as they square off against the baddies (Cybermen/Silurians/Daleks). At the moment Im working on level ten and hoping to finish the game soon. I should add that as enjoyable as this game is, it does tend to be a tad repetitive...as in, IM SO SICK OF PUSHING FREEKIN BLOCKS AROUND!!! I hope that the next game has more variety in what needs to be done to solve the puzzles. But all in all, Im having a great time playing this DOCTOR WHO adventure... PLEASE...MORE DOCTOR WHO GAMES!!!!
Great game, just how dr who should be played. Just one major complaint. Why is it that when Amy dies, she regenerates. Other than that, pretty awesome you guys.
It is an ausome game, or WAS an ausome game untill I updated it and now it totaly crashes! PLEASE HELP!!!!
The puzzles are fun and challenging (not impossible). Highly recommended!

Some bad moments

I am a die-hard Whovian, so when I saw this game I had to get it! I read some other reviews saying it wasnt a good game, but I decided to try it anyway. Sure, the graphics arent amazing and the controls take some getting used to, but the overall gameplay is very fun! Oh, the music is EPIC, too
The game work great! No crashes, controls work fine, and a bit of a challenge. Overall a fantastic game!
i love the dylek,cybermen,.......i heard there are weeping angels i just havent gotten that far into the game cause apps run the battery down on my ipod fast, but anyway this is the best app of its kind!!!!!!
As a diehard Whovian, I was thrilled to get this game for only 99 cents. As a pretty in-depth game designed with the small screen of the iPhone in mind, I was not disappointed in the not so fantastic graphics. The controls take a bit of getting used to, also not a problem. The game itself is well thought out and just challenging enough. My only peeve is when the Doctor is pushing a block. Often hell stand to the side of the block and not push it at all, or the block wont move. Also, theres a level with the Cyberman where a block is pushed next to steam, and because of this glitch with the Doctor moving blocks, he always dies when I try to push the block. I had stopped playing this game for a while because I simply cannot advance. Im still stuck on that particular room. So while it is an excellent game for its platform, just be aware that it has its issues. Overall, I love the game and I definitely recommend it.
This is a great game and I was thrilled to find a doctor who game. The graphics are good the puzzles vary in type and they are a good challenge. I liked very much how they included multiple types of the Doctors enemys so that you had to come up with different stratigies to get past each one. Overall a wonderful game. In the words of the Doctor: Ninth: Fantastic! Tenth: Molto Bene! Eleventh: Its an awesome game. I play awesome games now. Awesome games are cool.
I am very pleased with this app in general, but theres one issue that makes it impossible for me to advance to the next level that must be fixed. I didnt have problems with pushing the ice block before to get to the next room, so I didnt think it would be too difficult for me to restart the level taking place on Telos when I forgot to save. Now, though, the Doctor will sort of shift to the side a little when pushing the block, so if its next to an immobile object nothing will happen. If its next to another ice block, both will be pushed. Its a problem Im only having now that needs to be fixed. Otherwise, theres no way I can advance in the game. Thats why Im only rating this otherwise pretty cool app 2/5.
